It seemed like only yesterday that the British Watchmakers Association was formed, and as active members, Helicon Watches are delighted to be part of the resurgence of British Watchmaking in the UK.
The history of invention and innovation in British Clockmaking is truly magical and one which has shaped the modern world in which we live. From Harrisons chronometers, which helped the British sailors navigate the globe, to the work of contemporaries like George Daniels with his coaxial escapement, the United Kingdom has been at the forefront of Horological development.
The resurgence of British watch brands over the last 10 years has been incredible, and the British Watchmakers Association was formed, with the help of such industry luminaires as Roger Smith, to bring back those skills and innovation for which we were so famous, back to these shores.
Helicon Watches are proud to be part of that journey and to that end we are delighted to be attending the inaugural British Watchmakers Day on Saturday 9th March 2024 at The Lindley Halls in Westminster in London. It is an event to showcase skill, variety and creativity of contemporary British watchmaking innovation and creativity.

Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, this exclusive watch showcases Everest’s unique interpretation of the classic ombré dial in lapis lazuli blue infusing it with his signature style and creativity.
The Helicon X MbE Master Edition marks the final release of the Helicon Master Collection and as we have always avowed, once the Master Series has sold out, it will never be repeated.
