A Memorable Weekend: Helicon Watches at the British Watchmakers Day

What a weekend it was!

At Helicon Watches, we had the privilege of being part of the inaugural British Watchmakers Day, an event that exceeded all expectations and showcased the best of British watchmaking.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Alistair and Katya at The British Watchmakers Association for their tireless efforts in bringing this event to life. Their dedication transformed a mere idea into one of the most successful watch events of 2024.

Our day began early as we left our headquarters in Elstree and arrived at the magnificent Lindley Halls in Westminster. The sight of eager watch enthusiasts lining up before the doors even opened was a testament to the excitement surrounding the event.

The exhibition space, designed by Edwin Stebbs in 1904, provided the perfect backdrop for showcasing our meticulously crafted timepieces. It was a pleasure to engage with customers, both old and new, and share the stories behind our Helicon Master collection.

One of the highlights of the day was our collaboration with Savile Row icon Timothy Everest and his collective MbE, offering a watch infused with British style and heritage. It was a true honour to unveil this special release at such a prestigious event.

The British Watchmakers Day was not just about showcasing watches; it was about celebrating the artistry and craftsmanship that define British watchmaking. From exclusive releases to one-of-a-kind auction pieces, every brand rose to the occasion and showcased their best work.

To all who attended and supported us, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your enthusiasm and passion reaffirm our belief that British watchmaking is entering a new era of renaissance. We look forward to continuing this journey with you, one exquisite timepiece at a time.

Thank you for being part of our story.
